Central Heating has been providing comfort to homes and small businesses since 1976. We specialize in residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. From our home office in Abrams, Wisconsin, and satellite location Brussels, Wisconsin, Central Heating serves Northeast Wisconsin. Essentially, our sales, installation, and service teams serve an eight-county region. We work in Oconto, Brown, Shawano, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Outagamie and Manitowoc.
Installing Rheem & Servicing All Brands
Central Heating sells and installs a full range of Rheem products. These include furnaces, central air conditioning units, heat pumps, in-floor heating, UV air purifiers, HEPA filters, whole-house humidifiers, and other HVAC products. In addition, Central Heating services all brands of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Our technicians and installers take pride in doing things right the first time. We don’t like call backs any more that you do.

Serving Wisconsin for Nearly 50 Years
Central Heating has been serving Northeast Wisconsin for nearly 50 years. The heating and cooling company opened in 1976 as Central Heating and Sheet Metal. Employee Thomas Athey bought the company in 1982 and shortened the name to Central Heating. Thomas Athey’s daughter Sue Gubbels remembers working with her dad on jobs when she was a teenager. At the time, she worked alongside her dad bending sheet metal, helping at installs, and learning the HVAC trade. In 1994, Sue and her husband, Paul Gubbels, partnered with Sue’s father to operate the business. Today, Sue is the sole owner of Central Heating. She prepares estimates, schedules jobs, runs the office, and oversees the service technician and installer.
Supporting the Arts & Wildlife Conservation
Central Heating is a proud supporter of nonprofits and church organizations including Stewards of Grace Ministries. They also contribute to Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc., a community theater organization in Northeast Wisconsin. Additionally, Central Heating supports Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. a national wildlife conservation organization.
